Content Gap

A content gap is the gap between what your customers need to know and what your site currently explains.

Rather than just comparing the number of topics covered by competitors, we look into whether answers necessary for customer judgment are missing, such as product selection, adoption requirements, and preparation before making an inquiry. Customer inquiries or internal searches can also provide clues.

Any gaps you find won't just be fixed with a new page. You can also supplement existing descriptions or link to related documents. There is no standard that analysis always yields a certain number of new content opportunities.
