Wrap JavaScript in normal opening and closing script tags in the HTML field; closing tags do not universally require escaping. A document.write support option exists, so the feature is not wholly unsupported.
Community Gallery entries are not automatically official vendor templates. Check the publisher, permissions, and behavior, then test in Preview.
