Search Appearance

Search appearance is an analysis dimension in Search Console that determines which search features or result types a page appears in.

The types that appear in the report depend on the data actually observed on the site and the search features supported. Avoid lumping all features into one general rich result classification.

After selecting the type, compare exposure and clicks by matching the period, device, and page. The fact that you added structured data and the fact that it actually appears in the search function are different.

Google FAQ and HowTo rich results have been deprecated. Don't apply previous practices as current features, check official documentation for current support.
