Make important text and metadata accessible on mobile. The layout need not exactly match desktop; equivalent content and its actual rendered output matter.
Content is not excluded simply because it is in an accordion or tab. Distinguish text present in rendered HTML from text first fetched from the server after a user clicks. Google does not perform those user interactions to load primary content.
For separate m. URLs, the mobile canonical points to the corresponding desktop URL and the desktop alternate points to mobile. Hreflang describes language or regional alternatives and is not a replacement. After changes, inspect content, links and structured data with URL Inspection.
