After experimentation, Google launched AI Overviews in regular Search in 2024. When describing current products, distinguish the earlier SGE experiment from the scope and names of AI Overviews and AI Mode.
Google's official availability list checked in September 2026 includes both Korea and Korean. AI Overviews do not appear for every query. Evaluate other search services separately rather than using their presence to describe Google's availability in Korea.
