Q&A Structure

The question-and-answer structure is an editing method that organizes information by matching the questions readers are curious about with their answers.

Choose a question relevant to an actual customer’s decision and explain the applicable conditions and exceptions in the answer. If you repeat the same question in multiple expressions or only promote the service as the answer, it will not be helpful for reading.

Depending on the question, you may need a short answer, or you may need a comparison table or detailed explanation. There is no need to match the fixed character count and FAQ count.

A distinction is made between the Q&A format on the page and the structured data conditions of the search function. Google FAQ rich results are retired, and site-created FAQs do not automatically qualify as community Q&A pages eligible for QAPage markup.
